Now, as the year winds down, it’s the perfect time to reflect on how these predictions have played out, what lessons we’ve learned, and how the industry is evolving heading into 2026.

From new technology to talent pipelines and safer, more sustainable practices, the construction, industrial, and oil & gas sectors are shifting quickly, and staying ahead is more important than ever.

Top Highlights from 2025

Tech & Automation: AI, digital twins, and automation have transformed project management, improving efficiency and hazard awareness².
Workforce & Training: Apprenticeship programs and hands-on development are helping bridge the skills gap, while instilling a culture of safety from day one¹.
Sustainability & Modular Construction: Mass timber and offsite construction methods are reducing waste, improving efficiency, and creating safer, more organized job sites³.
