This week, as we recognized Women in Construction Week, we took time at NW Safety to reflect on the incredible women who continue to shape our company, our projects, and the industry as a whole.
At the center of that impact is NW Safety's Founder and Principal, Monik Hernández.
Working alongside Monik is truly inspiring. She’s a visionary, a trailblazer, and someone who sets the standard every single day. Watching her lead isn’t just motivating, it’s a masterclass in owning your space, breaking barriers, and proving that excellence speaks louder than gender.
Her leadership has helped create a culture where hard work, expertise, and passion are recognized and valued. And that culture continues to open doors for the many talented women who contribute to the success of NW Safety and the broader construction community.
That spirit of leadership and collaboration was on full display yesterday when we filmed a special episode of Safety Café: Conversations on the Frontline with several incredible members of the APWC Texas – Houston Chapter (Association of Professional Women in Construction).
The conversation was honest, insightful, and full of the kind of real-world experience that only comes from people who live and breathe this industry every day.
